Correction + Resilience

Build the strength and control for what you want to do.

You may want stronger legs for everyday demands, the mobility and control to learn a handstand, or a consistent way back into training. Private coaching gives you a session built around your goal, closer feedback on the details, and a pace we can adjust as you learn. If you want more individual attention than a group class provides, we can break the work into useful steps, explain what to practice, and review how it went between sessions. My reason for training is simple: “just in case someone needs me, just in case I need me.” That preparedness shapes the way I coach. A complimentary consultation helps us talk through your goal and whether classes or private coaching make the better starting point.

Focused coaching that helps you make better decisions between sessions.

  1. Observe
  2. Practice
  3. Adjust

The goal is independence

We teach you to fix yourself.

Coach guiding an adult’s overhead arm position during a mobility session.

That means learning to notice patterns, understand why the work matters, choose a useful dose, evaluate your response, and make better decisions between sessions.

It does not mean diagnosing or treating a medical condition, and it does not mean that everyone needs ongoing private coaching. If focused help or a class is enough, we will say so.

The coaching process

Observe. Practice. Adjust.

01Conversation

Understand the context

Discuss your training history, current priorities, relevant limitations, and the movements that have felt difficult to trust.

02Coaching observation

Choose a conservative start

Use coach-led movement observation to select a practical level, range, and focus for training.

03Plan

Build a repeatable practice

Leave with clear work, feedback, and a way to judge whether the training dose fits your current capacity.

04Iteration

Review the response

Adjust exercise choice, range, volume, or pace based on what happens between sessions.

In Arlington or online

The coaching relationship does not have to depend on geography.

Private movement and strength coaching is available in Arlington and virtually nationwide. Online coaching can include live observation, feedback, structured practice, and adjustments based on your response; the exact format and availability are confirmed before scheduling.
