You cannot put a price tag on feeling the best physically you have in years. Aric has opened my eyes and subjected my body to a form of training that was entirely foreign to me (and will be to many other former athletes, weekend warriors, or sedentary desk workers), and yet something I now believe is absolutely vital to almost all human beings. Training with Aric will improve your FLEXIBILITY (increased range of motion, decreased pain, and increased strength through proper muscle function), BALANCE, CONCENTRATION (Train Mindfully as Aric would say), COORDINATION, and of course STRENGTH. An unanticipated benefit is that it may also have you BREATHING BETTER (improved endurance, less anxiety, more energy) than you ever have before. Here’s a little about my story that may ring a bell to many people out there:

I was a former college soccer player who had suffered a couple sport-related injuries left me unable to find my way back to the field for about 2 years. I had tried multiple physical therapists, chiropractic, you name it to regain my athletic prowess. What I DIDN’T realize that the things affecting me most weren’t my ankle or knee surgeries, but rather the imbalances, weaknesses, and compensations I had developed from years of bad posture sitting in a desk job and doing traditional workouts at the gym. MANY IF NOT ALL of you have these without realizing it and you’re robbing yourself of feeling and performing your best.To give you an idea of the types of issues I was dealing with and you may be dealing with here are a few examples: anterior pelvic tilt, shortened hip flexors, hip misalignment, tight neck, inflexible shoulders, tight pectoral muscles (thanks a lot bench press), weak core strength (six pack “abs” are not core strength), and more. These types of things DO NOT go away in a workout or two as they’re built up over a number of years; your body is great at adapting (unfortunately in most cases with people who work a 9-5 at a desk this is a bad thing). I can pretty confidently say that Aric is one of the only personal trainers in the DC area adept at identify these types of issues, and coming up with the perfect plan to correct them.

If you are an athlete looking to improve your performance or return after an injury, a sedentary desk worker experiencing back or knee pain, or just ANY HUMAN BEING give Aric a call. I guarantee that his breadth of knowledge and mindful training techniques will have you feeling better than you have in years. If you want an overnight solution I recommend you stop reading this right now and go back to whatever fantasy land you live in. If you’re willing to be patient and put in the time and effort it takes to see improvement the RIGHT way (i.e. helping your body versus hurting it more through “traditional” methods) then I highly suggest you get in with Aric before his business blows up and he no longer has time for new clients.

I have been overweight most of my life, and was quite nervous when a friend suggested we sign up for a few sessions with a trainer. Working with Aric turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had lost a far amount of weight before I started training, but you couldn’t tell by looking at me because I had no muscle tone or strength.
